Nestled at the foot of the magnificent Koranna Mountains in the Eastern Free State.
Get ready for a weekend of trail running, adventure, and unforgettable memories at Koranna Getaway – where rugged nature meets pure exhilaration.
🔥Â Friday | 10 October
We kick things off with a family-friendly 3km Night Run – a glowing warm-up under the stars to set the vibe for the weekend.
After the run, gather around roaring bonfires for a traditional South African braai – the perfect start to a weekend of wild-hearted adventure.
🦁Â Saturday | Main Event Day
Runners will awaken to the roar of the Koranna mountains, setting the tone for an epic day on the trails.
Race Distances:
45km Ultra Trail – Our newest addition for 2026. A true test of endurance and grit, taking runners deeper into the Koranna wilderness with extended climbs, technical sections, and unmatched views.
33km Trail – For the bold and brave. A challenging route combining runnable terrain with demanding climbs through waterfalls, caves, rivers, and lush forest canopies.
21km & 12km Trails – Perfect for intermediate runners looking for a rewarding challenge packed with scenery.
5km Fun Run – A relaxed and scenic route to the waterfall and back – ideal for beginners and families.
Expect breathtaking views, untamed trails, and magical natural features around every corner.
🍽Â Finish Line Experience
All runners will be welcomed across the finish line with cheers and celebration, followed by a hearty Koranna pap & wors feast – a true taste of tradition.
As the sun sets, the energy continues with an unforgettable outdoor sokkie dance beneath the stars, surrounded by towering trees and mountain silhouettes.
